It was recently discovered by Dr. Robert O. Young that a foods acidic levels and your blood alkaline measurement are closely related to obesity. A ph balance diet is therefore of critical importance if one hopes to lose weight. What a critical discovery!

Concerning weight loss: It’s time for a chat about your body’s ph balance and blood alkaline and acid levels. Soil is a plant’s food, its diet.It’s taken as a given by farmer’s and agronomists that soils with the proper ph balance will make plants grow best, i.e., a ph balance diet is must for plant survival. In fact, every organism has its own ph balance diet requirements in order to survive and thrive. Outside of that range of ph, the organism dies or is greatly stressed and is in pain just to survive. Thus it is that corn will not grow well in soil that is too alkaline, and carrots will not grow well in soil that is too acidic.

Our bodies are the same. There is a range of acidity/alkalinity for our bodies in which they function perfectly-our blood alkaline can’t be too high and neither can our blood be too acidic. But should the body’s acidity/alkalinity balance fall outside of this range, due to an unbalance ph diet,the body’s functioning becomes impaired, it comes under stress and pain even arises. Eventually this stressed condition will lead to a degenerative disease (and/or obesity) that may eventually cause death.

In today’s world, there is a strong tendency for our bodies to become too acidic, due to the lack of a ph balance diet. Our foods acidic levels are simply too high. Red meats are highly acidic, as is soda pop, caffeine, most processed food, and fried foods. Even carbohydrates and sugars turn acidic during the digestion process. How many years has it been since my high school physics teacher soaked a dried chicken leg bone in a glass of coca cola? Within an hour the bone could be tied into a knot because of the acidity of the cola. But we tend to ignore all this. Thus it is that our bodies slowly tend to become acidic. It happens so slowly we don’t notice it. This doesn’t bother us while we’re in our twenties and thirties. It’s when we hit our forties that the accumulated effect of eating too much acidic food begins to show up, and our bodies become dangerously acidic and fat.

Here are the specific numbers. A ph balance diet will result in a ph of 7.2, signifying that the body is in perfect ph balance, neither too acidic or alkaline. A ph range of 7.0 to 7.5 is the acceptable range for a body to be in good health. When the ph drops to between 6.5 and 7.0, the body is beginning to feel pain, is stressed and fatigue and a feeling of lethargy begins to set in. When the ph drops to between 6.0 and 6.5, the body is beginning to become seriously acidic, and it is probably developing one or more of the 150 specific degenerative diseases, and excess body fat that are associated with an acetic condition. Then when your ph gets to between 6.0 and 5.5, you are in serious trouble, period. Your energy levels are shot, obesity crops up and degenerative diseases and/or weight gain is upon you.

When I discovered this very simple but crucial bit of information, I checked my ph. It was 5.5. No wonder I was having obesity and weight gain problems!

Now lets talk about how this situation leads to obesity. Okay, you have led a good life, used moderation in most things, and have good health. But gradually, unknown to you, your acidity has slowly, over the years, increased, and your blood alkaline levels crashed. As your acidity has increased and blood alkaline decreased, {your body will experience several reactions to this changed condition.|your body will undergo several changes. Pain and a general feeling of fatigue and tiredness sets in. Women’s menstrual symptoms become more severe. You may become obese. Your low blood alkaline and high acidity now affects the body’s ability to perform a function that it used to perform with ease. The ability of your stressed blood to carry food and oxygen to the body’s cells, and its ability to carry away the waste products from the cells is lessened.

Your blood, now unable to easily perform these functions, becomes overloaded with waste products (toxins) that it cannot easily dispose of. So it looks for other ways to dispose of the waste products. Some of them it stores in your fat deposits. Others it stores as deposits in the linings of your veins and arteries. And others it deposits on places where your bones are exposed, such as the bone joints of your body, or in your pancreas. It is these deposits of certain toxins (waste products) in your bone joints that eventually manifest as arthritis. Toxins stored in your pancreas lead to diabetes, and acids and toxins that are stored in your body fat leads to fat and obesity. Why? Because your body will produce extra fat in order to have a storehouse for excess toxins and acidity.

So, as I have outlined here, obesity is in actuality caused by a long-term over-acidity and low blood alkaline level in the body caused by the lack of a ph balance diet. Once I realized this, I began to look for a direct and simple treatment to change my ph balance (acidity/alkalinity) back to a healthy range. Eventually I found the alkaline diet, a ph balance diet that gave me pain relief, leading to total symptom reversal. After I began treatment, my recovery from arthritis was dramatic. Within 6 weeks of treatment my ph had gone from 5.5 to 6.5. Not only did my arthritis stiffness and pain and symptoms begin to disappear, I also regained much of my prior energy and zest for life. If you’ve made the decision to lose weight - congratulations! For most, committing to their own well-being is the hardest part. But even with self-motivation, many people find they don’t know what exercises to perform for rapid weight loss.

Then, rest for 30-60 seconds before attempting your next set.

Don’t be disappointed if you’re unable to complete all of the reps on every set. In fact, use that to determine when to add weight. If you’re finishing each set without any muscle strain, you will want to add weight.

Self motivation helped you to begin, but most have a difficult time sustaining the pace. It helps to know that the source of our motivations is a belief. Think about it: If you did not believe the gnawing sensation in your stomach meant you were hungry, you would not feel motivated to eat.

Understanding what ideas motivate you is necessary to weight loss, because when you feel powerfully motivated, you will exercise consistently. Good fats are defined as polyunsaturated or mono-unsaturated fats, versus the bad fats being saturated fats or trans fat.

2. Our internal clock brings about a valley of fatigue in cycles. Every four to six hours you will experience your maximum fatigue, and this is when it’s easiest to fall asleep. After that you will experience a renewed feeling of energy and it will become difficult to fall asleep.

3. Even if you are positive that you haven’t slept at all, research labs have proven that we all sleep during the night. Sometimes you are sure that you’ve been lying awake thinking, but actually you have been sleeping lightly and dreaming.

4. Trying to fall asleep: There is a law of nature called The Law of Reversed Effect. It says that if you try to do something, you will get the opposite. And the harder you try, the more you will get the opposite. So, trying to fall asleep will insure that you will remain awake. Do not “try” to fall asleep.

5. Alcohol will put you to sleep: This may be true; as alcohol is a depressant. However, as soon as it wears off, you will awaken abruptly and it will be much harder to fall asleep.

6. Sleeping pills can help: It is the dream phase of sleep in which you get your rest. Sleeping pills suppress the dream phase of sleep (REM sleep). That is why one generally awakens more tired than before going to sleep after using pills.

EFFECTING A CURE

1. See what time you feel most tired in the evening. From that point on, every evening at least an hour before that time, take a bath that is slightly warmer than body temperature for 20 minutes. A shower won’t have the intended effect.

2. Have a warm drink, preferably not coffee or tea because of the caffeine which will wake you up. Warm milk is the best if you can tolerate it.

3. Stop thinking about any problems that you have. Do not think about what you need to do tomorrow. If you are worried about forgetting what you have to do tomorrow, write it down.

4. Stay away from stimulating thoughts and television shows. If you must read, then read something that is monotous.

5. Reserve your bed for sleep. Read and watch television only from a chair or couch.

6. Get into bed at least 20 minutes before your valley of fatigue. Once in bed, if worries begin to pop into your mind, repeat several times to yourself, “I’ll think about it tomorrow.” This will help to eliminate excessive thinking. Do not try to make your mind blank and don’t try to fall asleep. Just allow yourself to rest.

7. For Endogenous Insomnia, you should eliminate the discomfort to the best of your ability.

8. For Exogenous Insomnia, make the room as quiet as possible. If your partner listens to loud music, you can move to another room. Running a fan motor can also help induce sleep, as it will tend to cover up outside noises. The monotonous drone of the fan generally proves to be very relaxing.

Sleep Like A Log -You Can Treat Your Insomnia

Sleep is important for an individual’s body to work properly, grow, and heal after an injury. Most research findings recommend that grownups need from six to eight hours of sleep nightly. A number of people, however, cannot do this. Up to 20 million people in the United States alone have serious difficulty sleeping every night.

Several circumstances that cause sleep disorders are responsible for this amazing statistic. For instance, a large number of people snore. Deep snoring can actually cause sleepers to wake, startled, by their own noise. Additionally, people who are married to someone that is a loud snorer often are unable to sleep while such a racket is going on in the same room!

Snoring may also be a sign of a similar sleeping abnormality known as sleep apnea. This happens when someone quits breathing during sleep. This condition may be a result of obstructions in the nose and sinus passages, or by obesity. This problem is potentially deadly, and those who suffer from sleep apnea usually wear a mask that sends pressured air to their lungs while they are asleep.

Sleep apnea can cause narcolepsy, a different sleep problem. On occasion, however, people who do not have sleep apnea may have narcolepsy. Those who suffer from this disorder usually go to sleep unexpectedly and without warning in any place or at any time. If an individual is diagnosed with narcolepsy, the physician often recommends that person to refrain from driving before the problem is being treated effectively; going to sleep while driving can be very hazardous!

Still another potentially harmfulsleep disorder is called sleepwalking, but is sometimes described referred to in scientific research as somnambulism. Those who walk in their sleep engage in the identical activities - cleaning house, drinking, climbing stairs, and so on - that they perform during their waking hours. Up to one-fifth of the people in the world may walk in their sleep.

Sometimes, people have often documented cases of people who have left their homes or committed murder while sleepwalking! Most often, however, the individual who is asleep is in much more danger than the people witnessing the event. The recommended course of action is to assist the sleepwalker back to bed.

A condition commonly called shift work sleep disorder is common to people whose job requires them to work alternating shift schedules, afternoon, or night shifts. This problem can cause either of two forms of sleeping problems: excessive tiredness, or an inability to sleep. Additionally, individuals who experience this problem have higher possibility of cancer than persons who do not have it.

People who develop insomnia usually have trouble falling asleep at night. If they are able to sleep, they frequently cannot sleep well and are awakened easily. They might only sleep for a few hours before awakening.

The effects of insomnia include feeling sleepy during the day and impaired physical functioning. Despite the fact that people who experience insomnia frequently feel sleepy, however, persons who chronically experience insomnia often realize that they are constantly hyper-alert, and experience difficulty relaxing or remaining calm. Some other possible side effects of this condition include physical and mental fatigue.

Many people believe they know how to treat insomnia. Some of these include some interesting home remedies for insomnia. One of these remedies is a concoction of honey, tea, and milk, even though there is no solid evidence demonstrating that this compound, or insomnia hypnotherapy. Professionals who use insomnia hypnotherapy assist clients to experience beneficial sleep routines by introducing a sequence of suggestive thoughts that will allow them to fall asleep with less difficulty. People are taught the skills of self-hypnosis to effectively sleep better. Self-hypnosis is a type of insomnia hypnosis that is usually very helpful for suggestive persons, but is less useful for people who think analytically. A quite similar strategy, called Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP, is much more useful with these people.
